Basically, an eyelash extension is like hair extension. In eyelash extensions, real eyelashes are extended piece by piece with a synthetic polyester fiber which is available in various length, color and thickness.
The procedure takes about two hours to complete (that is to connect about 30-80 pieces of eyelashes on each eyelid). With eyelash extension, your eyelash will look natural, not like those fake strip eyelashes.
The synthetic eyelash is glued to every piece of hair using special glue (cyanocrylate adhesive) and will stay glued even if you sleep, shower or even swim. However, the glue will not stick anymore if you apply lots of oil to it.
Eyelash extension can last for three weeks to three months, depending on the eyelash hair grow cycle. Normally, real human eyelash will fall every 60-90 days, the synthetic hair attached to the real hair will also fall with it.
